4 A Day Picture Diary

Where? Roncesvalles to Zubiri.
A journey down through the foothills of the Pyrenees. A combination of delightful woodland paths, farmland and a horrible descent over broken bedrock down into Zubiri.
What? Here’s a picture of one of the broken rock paths.
Some of the chatter talks about it being an ‘ankle snapper’. They weren’t joking.
I’m exceptionally grateful we did it during dry weather, even if it was stinking hot.
The rest of it is delightful though.
Who? A picture of David who runs the El Dragon Peregrino, taverna and pizzeria. David makes the beer and the pizza.
BeerIt should be obligatory for ever Welsh Peregrino to visit David.
Why? Why you really shouldn’t worry about loosing your way.
Yellow arrows are literally everywhere. Carefully pointing the way, particularly in urban areas.
