4 A Day Picture Diary – Day 7. Pamplona.

Where. The gateway into the old part of Pamplona.
This gate will feature in the pictures, vlogs etc of 1000’s of Peregrinos.
A picture really does speak a thousand words. It is an incredibly welcoming sight.
What? No longer walking because we have to. Hurrahhh
It took about 10 hours of lying horizontal, but we are back on our feet.
Note the casual footwear, nonchalant hands in pocket walking style, with no hunched back carrying a turtle shell of a rucksack.
Yes, today we are tourists.
That’s Pamplona Cathedral at the end of the street. Not so visible after midday when the streets are jammed.
More about Pamplona Cathedral in another post.
Who?
Check out the gargoyle.
Better teeth than many of the people I’ve played rugby with.
Lots of gargoyles around these parts. Many look strangely familiar (note to self: must check in on MG when I get home).
Why?
This sounds horribly decadent, but why why why was the hotel pool closed for maintenance.
Admittedly I had forgotten to pack some budgie smugglers, but I would have found a way.
