Here’s a few things that appear along the Camino that made me pause.
Nothing particularly deep and meaningful here. Mostly just weird stuff that appeals to my sense of curiosity.

Be Quiet! Listen.
A small chalk board fixed about 3m up in a tree. Somewhere in the Beechwood’s around Fontaine de Roland (I think).
It does make a good point.
The woods have plenty of wildlife it is worth listening to.
We did stop to eat lunch around here, and for many groups of walkers you could hear them talking before you see them.

Viva las croquetes!
There’s so much going on here.
Fairly typical of most signposts you see on the Camino. This was somewhere between Roncesvalles and Zubiri I think.
Of course I’m going to spend time trying to find out what Viva las croquettes! is all about.
A cursory search did lead me to cookery recipes for croquettes, with music.
There must be a deeper meaning?

EFFORT
A birdhouse thing hanging precariously from some branches about 5m up.
Can’t see anything but squirrels with a strong resistance to sea sickness nesting here.
But why write EFFORT on the bottom?

English Ivy Kills Trees
Apparently, English Ivy doesn’t actually kill trees, it just makes them a bit unwell.
Someone does however hold a different view, which they need to express strongly through the medium of stickers on road signs.
Or maybe I’m missing the true meaning?

Don’t Poo Here!
Little explanation of this one required.
Quite a famous Camino Curiosity, if you look online in the wrong sort of places.
It’s also a fairly common problem on some popular UK hiking trails.
I’m quite impressed by the quality of the sign though.
Very professional. There must be a shop that sells them.
Where there is a demand, the market will meet it huh…
Will be back in October with a few more.
